Модуль «Система времен в английском языке: активизация теоретических и прикладных навыков» является частью обучающего курса по английскому языку для старшеклассников (10, 11 классы), направленного на повышение качества знаний у выпускников школ.

Целью данного модуля является освоение теоретических навыков употребления грамматического времени в английском языке и активизация этих правил на практике.

Задачи реализации модуля следующие: 1) систематизировать теоретические знания обучающихся в области построения и употребления грамматического времени в английском языке в активном и страдательном залоге; 2) обратить внимание старшеклассников на особенности употребления времен и наиболее типичные ошибки; 3) закрепить правила употребления времен на практике и выработать навык аналитического мышления у обучающихся, предполагающего выбор времени и залога с учетом коммуникативных целей и задач; 4) рассмотреть грамматическую систему времен в комплексе с синтаксическими (например, вопросительные, отрицательные предложения), лексическими (лексические маркеры времен, например, указатель Past Indefinite – last month ), орфографическими (например, правила правописания глаголов при изменении их формы – he studies ) и другими грамматическими особенностями (например, неправильные формы глаголов).

Процесс обучения в рамках данного модуля рассчитан на 20 часов и сочетает дистанционную (16 часов) и аудиторную (4 часа) формы обучения с опорой на дистанционную форму для формирования теоретической основы курса. Последующее закрепление теоретического материала и проверка выполненных заданий и их анализ проводится аудиторно.

Таким образом, модуль включает четыре раздела, реализуемые преимущественно дистанционно. На каждый раздел отводится 5 часов: 4 часа дистанционного обучения и 1 час аудиторного обучения.
